After the loss of her son, she created MARC PRODUCTIONS in his memory, and began writing"  Imperfect Seed," based on a true story. The Los Angeles premiere was this  past March, and it is currently in development as a screenplay. In the years following, she wrote and co-produced Precious Piglet and Her Pals, a musical stage show for children, which garnered a regional award for best original children's musical in 2005. She is co-writer and co-produced  "Rachel and Julio" in 2006 starring Lainie Kazan and Joe Bologna. Carrol also co-produced Mariette Hartely's one woman show "If You Get To  Bethlehem You've Gone Too Far," as well as the "The Boychick Affair"
